TARYTHMIC is everything we hoped for from this cross, with the very best qualities from both of his parents and inborn athleticism. Substantial and big-moving, Mick is the product of bloodlines proven time and again in all disciplines. At age 5 Micky stands just over 17 hands, and may have a little more height to come by maturity. His temperament and character are excellent; he is trainable, sensitive, and well-mannered.

Last fall we decided to play around a little bit with free-jumping, to see what Mick's true aptitude is for that facet of sport. We found him to be an eager jumper with excellent bascule and form over fences. (The video clips from July 2006, shown below, are of his only fifth day of free-jumping ever!)

Mick got his real start under saddle in the fall of 2005, and made great progress! The photos shown of him being ridden by trainer Tom Pierson were taken on his eighth ride.

After spending the winter in turnout at home, in spring, 2006 Mick started in training with Liz Teahen at her barn in Traverse City. Mick is doing great! Liz remarks that he is a very pleasant horse.

Congratulations to Rebecca Mouras of Glenmoore, PA on finding her next competition partner! Good luck, Rebecca and Mick!
