GUARANTEED GOLD
1998 Jockey Club Thoroughbred Stallion
Standing at True Colours Farm in Campbellville, Ontario, Canada
Sire of two 2006 Foals and one 2007 Foal at Tannenwald Trakehner
GUARANTEED GOLD xx is a Jockey Club-registered Thoroughbred stallion standing 16.1 hands. He is an athletic young stallion who, in his first year of eventing competition, finished in the top five in the Ontario Championships at Training Level. He impresses with his pleasant expression, good gaits, superb work ethic, precise jumping style, and an excellent disposition.
We chose him to cross to two of our Kaspareit daughters—Tanzelfe and Itanika—both of whom are large-bodied, substantial mares with dispositions suitable for amateur riders and little Thoroughbred blood close in their pedigrees.
On May 2, 2006, Tanzelfe delivered the first of our Guaranteed Gold foals. TANGO d'OR is a gorgeous, large Anglo-Trakehner colt that truly seems to possess the best qualities of both of his parents.
On June 4, 2006, Itanika gave birth to our second "Golden Child," a much hoped-for filly! Palomino warmblood horses of any breed are extremely rare world-wide, and our 2006 foals are among only a handful to be registered with the American Trakehner Association. This lovely filly, ITALIA DORATA, also has the potential to be approved by the ATA as breeding stock!
We have one foal by Guaranteed Gold expected in 2007, this one out of our bay Stud Book Trakehner mare ITAMIGNON. This baby will be a maternal uncle or aunt to Italia Dorata, as well as being by the same sire. From this cross, the foal will be either palomino, buckskin, or smokey black — another guaranteed rare color and possibly eligible to become Trakehner breeding stock! The 2007 foal is offered for sale in utero.
